What a cookie is

A small file a site stores in your browser so it can recognise the browser on a later request. Italian and EU law treats cookies that are not strictly necessary as requiring your prior consent.

What this site uses

None at present. The site is static, has no login and holds no session.

Analytics

None. We do not measure visits.

Advertising and profiling

None. We run no advertising and build no profiles.

Third-party requests

Typefaces load from Google Fonts. This sets no cookie, but it does disclose your IP address to Google as a technical consequence of fetching the file.

Why there is no banner

A consent banner is required when non-essential cookies or similar trackers are used. Since none are, the Garante's guidelines of 10 June 2021 do not require one here. If that ever changes, a compliant banner will appear before any such technology is set.

Controlling this yourself

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and restrict third-party requests. Doing so will not degrade this site, since it relies on neither.
